Base Game Stove?
Is there a decorative stove, oven or range we can put inside the house in the base game? Heidi sells a range hood but I can't find any cooking item to put under it. I've never built a kitchen in my house in game so this is my first encounter with this.

No, you cannot create even a decorative, non-functional, kitchen inside your house.

You can get these furniture, the one with the word cute in it, it is a paid DLC.
Cute Modular Cabinet*, Cute Refrigerator, Rustic Refrigerator, Rustic Spice Rack to make a kitchen, just no oven nor a stove.

You can put the rice cooker inside? I know you can't use the cooking stations, think I'll give this a try. Right now I have the rustic cabinet sitting under it because it looks kinds old kitcheny. I don't want to buy DLC for this, it's my 5th house and I decided to try actually making more homelike, but not work extra real money.

What would be nice is bathroom furnished stuff like a tolit i use the jazcuzi as a tub
in kitchen i dont like the cute stuff looks to fake to me so i to use the the rice cooker...i really wish the dev team would make furniture even if its nonuseable so that we can decorate our house. tables that we can put different things other than books on, lamps we can put on tables,we can make a plate,( but for what, cant put it on dining table). rugs that we can put under furniture like sofas tables bed. Also have you just gone to the other houses? rocky for example has cute stove, so does danbi . counterspace furniture too. oh and dont get me started on owens house...its decked out with all kinds of goodies...(im jealous lol)

Oh, I know, we have the ability to have a huge house on a giant plot of land but no really good way to decorate it. Meanwhile, Mi-an lives in a tiny box and I'm totally jealous of how homey it is. I try to make up for it with framed photos all over the place, but I'd love to be able to make a picture wall, not just line of frames.

How about that MASSIVE square table with a single item spot that you can put like, your tiny guild trophy or that vase of dead flowers Jane loves to give on.

ETA: At least let me put the 500 vases of flowers Miguel sends me on those instead of littering the floor with them.

Rice cooker worked! Thanks!

Also, ran over to Logan's and took another look at his kitchen. WTF? He can't cook at all, why does he have such a nice kitchen. Mabel is supposedly a great cook and I can't figure out where she is cooking, she has basically nothing in her house to cook on. Meanwhile, Logan has this lovely kitchen but keeps his fridge downstairs by the front door and his idea of fine dining is not turning his food into charcoal? And I say all this as someone who has married him 4 times and will always choose him as best spouse.

That because the food is always on one of the two dining tables in the house. Downstairs dining table and another dining table in the bedroom...

Mabel has one of those Portia-style cookers outside her house, so I guess she's in the same boat as the rest of us.

I just assumed Logan's kitchen was so well equipped because Howlett and Haru could cook. Man does love to keep things clean, though.

I also put the rice cooker in my kitchen with a hood from Construction Junction above it. I built a premium wood desk to place as a lower cabinet with the spice rack above and purchased the sink from CJ and the above cabinet unit. I don't like the cute dlc fridge, so I bought the green one from Heidi, too. In my bathroom, I use the cute dlc vanity, jacuzzi, and the cute sink. Most of the other cute furniture I put in Andy's room.

I love all the options. though I agree about needing more flexible storage. But of course, we're always going to want more and more of everything.
