I would love to see more outfits that serve as reasonable alternatives to the default outfits. It would be nice if NPCs could change clothes without looking so out of place.

Note: I do realize that "reasonable" is subjective but it seems like the devs understood when they designed the default outfits.

I second this idea! Secondary outfits for the villagers that reflect their own personal theme would be great.
I do love the formal wear and elegant styles, I wear them on my character, but they do look out of place in day to day town life. A second outfit for the NPCs that's just another take on what they might wear normally would be amazing. Maybe the devs have some reject design sketches for them that they could revive for this.

Seasonal accessories would be great. Warm hats, fluffy gloves, sun hats, things like that.
Festival suits and dresses would be nice. Sandrock residents probably have one nice set of clothes to bring out on special occasions. Maybe Sunday church wear?
The more laid back residents could have even lazier, laid back clothing. The civil corps might have exercise clothes for their off days.
Elsie needs a pretty dress that she hates.
A birthday hat for captain.

Bathing Suits for the remaining romanceable characters would be perfect! Some of the romanceable characters already have Bathing Suits so please finish by making Bathing Suits for remaining romanceable characters that do not have Bathing Suits yet!

I'd like to see good and proper seasonal outfits. Bundle up in the winter, something more like the swimwear in the summertime, and the default outfits already in the game work well for spring and fall.

Formal wear and swimsuits look out of place for the theme of the game, casual attire, western style attire, and winter outfits would be a better fit, if you decide to add any more.

Swimwear is very fanservicey, but is it good desert wear? Swimming isn't allowed in the oasis. Deserts suffer from hot days and freezing cold nights. Then there's the risk of sandpaper wind that can hurt unprotected skin. Swimwear doesn't cover half of that.

Desert clothing needs to do it all. It needs to shield the sun's worst, allow air flow to breathe, and tighten up for the night.

It's not everyone wanting swimsuits, it seems it's one person trolling the forums.

There is already some swimsuit dlc's, I don't see them making more of the same when people are asking for a variety, including the western wear, seasonal attire and other good suggestions.

Swimsuits don't really fit in Sandrock. A harsh life in the desert has no place for polymer spandex, never mind where the spandex actually comes from.
Swimsuits do have various success as DLC content and it does cater to that type of audience.

Plus if you dress a npc in a swimsuit they don't go sunbathing, no such thing exists in the game, they just walk around town and do their jobs in a swimsuit, how inappropriate looking would that be, especially if it was Jane teaching children while wearing a bikini, oh my.

I prefer outfits that are less practical, stand out and don't of into the game, such as swimsuits and formal wear. I prefer these outfits because they are more creative and add more customization to the game and because it gives you something different from what you are normally seeing all the time that you are playing
