- The story is "put on hold" due to Elsie, so if you are too fast in year 1, they resume it at exactly the worst time in Year 2.
- I had to force skip a day, because the town invasion ruined my birthday party and related quest.
- The Duvos space ruins fall on the day of the event registration for High Noon. The mission force sleeps when you return for absolutely no reason, failing the registration. They still have the annoying design where they trigger a cutscene mid you spam clicking in combat, which forces a message that you can't skip important cutscenes, which stays up for the next 5 entire cutscenes for no reason, ruining every single possible screenshot.
I'd either have to reload several hours of content or miss an entire event and achievement. The design in this game that constantly hijacks your day, force sleeps or overlaps events/missions scheduled at exactly the same time is ridiculous. In Portia, you get 2-3 days to register for the martial arts tournament. Here, they absolutely refuse to let you register early at your own pace, but also refuse to let you register on the day of.
I want to play a relaxing game, but this crap just keeps ruining my day with timers. I'm done, I have no will to finish the rest of the game anymore, too fed up and tired fighting the mechanics. Portia is and always was the better of the two games.
