Blue Moon Saloon Part Time Quests are the worst

I got this quest many time and mostly its something like we are short on food: grow some and bring them (you have 3-4days time). Growing the plant take 3-4days. So its impossible to do if you dont have some of it in stocks.
My last time he wanted Potatoes and i harvested them on the last day at 23PM.
No Problem right? the Blue Moon is open till 2AM. But the owner leaves at 23PM and goes home which is open till 23PM.
You cant knock on the door and deliver it like. So i fail this quest i put work in because the owner of a bar/restaurent leaves befor he closes his bar/restaurent.
Maybe its only me.

I'm also not a fan. It wouldn't be so bad if you could see what was needed before you accept, but like you said, if it's something you don't already have growing, you can't collect it within the time frame of the quest. It's always done a couple hours too late.

You can, but it's super tight. Tight as in you have to pick up the mission/plants first thing in the morning then plant them IMMEDIATELY for them to be ready to harvest in time to turn in. I have completed them all and I'm usually turning them in just before deadline.

Quick save. Talk to Owen and accept the mission. Check the mission details. Reload the quick save if it seems unlikely you can finish in time. That's what you made it for.

Now that you know what Owen wants. you can start growing it, and hopefully he'll still want the same thing tomorrow or the next day.

Not a fan. I did both his and Cooper's once and decided to never do them again. Not worth the headache from Owen's and my character has better things to do then pick up poop. I know why they're there, I just wish I could hide the blue quest pop-up for them.
