Well, fighting against weak opponents, "because that's how it's supposed to be"! Where is there any satisfaction in fighting? Because I feel irritated!
As for the Boss, I also have to agree, because the players are not prepared for a difficult fight. If they want a normal fight with the so-called Final Boss, the developers need to: Reduce his damage, reduce the frequency of his attacks (I may be wrong), and give more HP if players want a longer fight.
I'm in favor of difficulty levels, a good many people who like this type of cozy game don't like combat, don't buy the game for the combat, and struggle through difficult boss fights, so far I've had to do each one over and over again, and in the end I'm not even sure how I won, probably dumb luck, or maybe the game just let me win after multiple attempts, idk, either way it's not a enjoyable experience.
I wish they give option to invite an NPC (buddy and up) to dungeon dive with you, or at least your pet.
I do go into the spaceship ruins with about 200 Fang Specials, because no matter what level I am, I suck at fighting and need constant boosts to keep from getting killed repeatedly.
SaintSinner - you can get your buddies to dungeon dive with you by asking them to hang out and then taking them with you. Be nice and give them dinner afterward.
(heck, it's got entries on TVTropes. Gameplay & Story Segregation, and Cutscene Incompetence, for example)
. . . I'm reminded of one silly situation in one of the Xenosaga games. You had to beat the boss to get the cutscene - and the cutscene is "OMG, they're too powerful! We can't beat them! We must retreat!" :D
