Does that do anything yet? I can't get it to be recognized on my map, and it's such a sweet little scenery spot, I'd love to propose there, but it doesn't seem to be a "place" yet? Do I need to unlock it somehow?

It's a date spot, so you have to be actively dating the person you want to marry and then ask them on a date to be able to interact with it for a proposal (I believe you also need to have the engagement ring from the Mysterious Man on you and you definitely need your yard to be at least level 5 to go through with it)
