I can't paint the furniture

Please help!

I ran into a problem: when I pick up the paint and approach the furniture (as stated in the description), I do not have the option "change color"

Also, I can't put any relics and objects in the closet and on the shelves.

Has anyone had similar problems? How to solve this snag?

As far as I know, not every piece of furniture can be painted. From what I've seen, its mostly the "Yakboy" series of furniture.

Not every object can be put on shelves or tables. Many relics are too big to be put on shelves. Books can be placed pretty much anywhere, I think. They're small enough. I usually don't bother with putting books on tables/shelves, there aren't enough slots for them so I put them in storage chests instead.

What kind of closet did you try? Some are for clothes only.
