Why factory have to spam that much?
I keep getting "These items are used when the factory restarts production:"
Often 3 - 5 times in a row!

I dunno what I'm doing wrong, I already removed all the crafting queue. I wish I just could toogle off these notifications.
I'm start to regret this thing.

I mean, with the machines where it was, I just need to select what I want to queue, max it, it would select only what is avaliable and go with it, without complain about anything. With factory, I have this big menu, I can queue way more than I have it, and keep getting these notifications.
If the factory would just work with what resources I have, pehaps decide by itself to change to another queue when there is enough of a product, and not spam any messages...

Yeah, there needs to be an option to turn that off. It's not needed even.

Factory in this version of the game is likely a major downgrade if compared to Portia, who was simple install and use. I've also had the same thing happen and it became so annoying I just destroyed the factory and got back to the old way of having machines on the yard.

IMO, the whole modular house system just doesn't work well, too buggy and hard to use for my liking. But then, that's just my opinion.

Yeah, I don't remember much how Portia factory works, but I do remember that there was slots to set the machines, and was more efficient.
Sandrock version is confusing. "OK, I can make a factory because there is a new button. Ah, its like a room. There is a choice to make it a factory... (there is not enough items) What that means?" I had to check someone let's play video to have a clue of how it works.

This modular building system look interesting, but still there are some hiccups here an there.
Like, why some items are avaliable to be added through the construction menu? Some are inside chests, but others are not,
they seem to be inside this invisible container for this particular mode (already own).
That hammer button that appears when I select an object is labeled "retrieve". But where did it go? It's not in my inventory, it not the on the "Already Own" menu, seems that was just destroyed without givng some feedback, like money refunded.
The multi-select don't give me a clear feedback of what is selected. Items could be clearly highlighted. Also a better way to add/remove items from an assembled group.
If I move my house, the rooms reset the doorways, deleting my doors without giving me back the money, and whatever was set to middle of the walls, are send me back by mail. Making inconvenient to rearenge my home.
Can't rotate doors, to choose of which side I wish the hinges will be.
I wish I could mirror some objects, like the eagle statues.

Game is great! I'm enjoying it more than Portia. But there are some flaws that get in the way. =/

I vehemently agree with you.

Anyone else getting the sound of working machinery from the factory inside other houses/museum/game center etc?

I sincerely love Sandrock but you're right. The Factory was useful in Portia. Here it's just another random block and you put things in it that spam and don't even collect in one place and it's such a downgrade.

Having default houses you can build was nice too. I don't understand why you'd like to have furniture included, or why you need to have a bed and house up when you put down a new one. That's not even talking about stairs... Seriously if I want to build houses I'll go and play The Sims.

Everyone (especially those who played Portia) hates the factory. I'm on my second 1.0 run and I refuse to build one, at least until they fix it. They said in some notes they plan to address it. I actually like the greenhouse though.
Portia factory should have stayed.

I don’t have the factory yet in Sandrock but I had it in Portia and reading all the threads on it I have no idea how they effed it up so much in this game. Literally all they needed to do was just put Portia factory into Sandrock. Boom, endgame building done.
