Helper not taking care of animals anymore

Rosy took care of the animals the first 2 days, but not anymore. Doesn't clean, doesn't pet, doesn't collect. I keep getting a notification that the barn gets cleaned and that the animals are pet when I wake up every morning, but it isn't cleaned and the animals aren't pet. I literally haven't changed anything, she just stopped working.

I was having the same issue, I only had chickens and she wasn't taking care of them, or collecting machine goods, I ended up selling the chickens since I had over 2500 eggs, and I couldn't be bothered to take care of them on my own, I am busy enough as it is. It was fine before the updates.....

I've got the same thing going on. Mirror won't pet animals, clean barn or collect animal products. Same thing with the wife (Nia) she won't do it either. This started after the last patch.

Has any of your helpers actually done Party Catering? I assume it's redoing the table with food. Cause I can't get any of mine to do that one either no matter how much food is in the helper box.

Nope. I have only tried it once or twice. I set "cater party" task to Rosy, put food in the helper box, but ended up "catering" the party myself.

Then that's two items they are having trouble with. Feel like more than a party girl standing on top of the table, food in hand, etc...

This is supposed to be a family game! :D

I'm having the same problem with my helper. She doesn't seem to do anything anymore, when I open the tasks screen it says she's cleaning the barn, but she isn't. She wont pet animals, refill the food or clean the barn. I've never seen her refuel the generator or the water tower either. I've also got my husband (Fang) set to feed the mounts, but he wont do that either. The helper box is full of food and fuel, but nothing is happening.

It's a bug from the most recent update. My work-around: remove the tasks to pet the animals & clean the barn at night, then re-activate in the morning. Doing this every day, annoying as it is, has worked for me. If you don't remove these tasks before end of day, then the helper gets stuck and won't do anything the next day.

I just sold my animals and deleted the pens. I got sick of Rosy. Now she just barely grabs materials and that's it.

Same problem here and she actually seems to take care of it again for one day after first loading up the game then goes back to her usual pattern of not doing anything. Well, she does collect the water from the dew collectors at least. I have a lot and that would be a pain. I think selling them is probably better than removing and adding the task back every day, unless you actually still need the animal products. /sigh

I tried the "remove the task at night and re-add in the morning" and it didn't work because the task had been automatically re-added while I slept.

Yeah same here, I'm just giving up on the helper for now.

I fixed it by quick save and load every morning outside of the house. Rosy will take care of animals immediately after load the save. it's not permanent fix but save and load took me 10 second so it's not a big deal.

Same here Rosy stopped collecting dew and tending to the animals and only seems to refill my fuel and water. I don't know if its because i got married cause mi-an does nothing as well
