DLC Outfits

Not really a fan of most of the outfits. They definitely don't fit most of the tone of the game. Furthermore, watching the characters wear the exact same stuff all game is boring too. I also think that splitting up characters for different DLC packages was kind of a ♥♥♥♥ move. Were yall waiting to gather data to see what characters were popular with players so that you could split them into different packs?

Here's some suggestions for additional outfits that would look better:
1. Most of the characters are from different parts of the world, so create different world outfits.
2. More traditional US Southwestern style outfits.
3. Business suit attire, like a jacket, tie, etc.
4. Monster Hunter style attire - think clothing made from parts of monsters (not literally but that theme)
5. Mutant themed clothing - maybe make the characters look mutated... different limb/head sizes.
6. Farmer attire - overalls, straw hats (western ones, not rice paddy hats)
7. Traditional Chinese themed attire.

I agree that splitting the NPCs into three categories for 4.99 a pop was an absolute D-move. Especially when you take the most popular characters and put them in with characters people don't care for..

I didn't mind paying for the player characters stuff in support for the game.. but if this is the route they want to take, I'll be fine not buying any of these until they are effected by huge discounts

I hope they handle this better in future updates

+ 1 to all of this and I'd love to see outfits from points 1, 2 and 3 that sounds great.
I would also like packs that have one outfit style but for all npcs, I mean literally all. I don't care that Cooper is not romancable I want to see my dude being able to wear something else too.

Yeah splitting them up into 6 MtX's for $7(CAD) each ($42 for all them) instead of bundling them together for around $10-15 is insane.

Sad too many devs/publishers would rather cater to a small group of whales than make it more appealing to everyone.

i usually don't care about cosmetic DLC, cuz IMO cosmetic DLCs are a good way to support the Devs even more if you desire, i bought the player clothes DLC cuz i love the game and want to support it, but these new DLCs? it reeks of GREED, it's expensive, they separated the most popular character, some of the clothes are from the player DLC clothes but i can't give it to any NPC even if i already own it, you are basically paying twice for the same thing.

Sorry but IMO the devs are getting greed.

I agree with 2, 3 and 4. Personally I would never put any of the guys in some kind of Saints Row pimp cos-play. Just tacky. Also separating the DLC like this and just for NPC outfits is a bad move. It's greedy, it's gross. I got this game in EA and paid for all the previous DLC cause I thought it would be a good way to further support, but this... nope.

I don't love the DLC style but I bought a few. Why can't I change their outfits now that I own it? I can only change the assessories?

I just want to say that a lot of the women's outfits are super cute, I love them. I'd honestly love to wear them myself. But I am rather disappointed with how plain some of the men's outfits are. I'm not certain, but Unsuur's outfit looks super close to the player version, with nothing allowing for him to stand out. His could have had tasteful gemstones, or something.

Do the outfits change contextually or are the NPCs just stuck in summer outfits during winter?

I don't know how to change the clothes at all. In the clothing tab I can only choose the alternative standard clothing. I want to dress Owen in his suit for the wedding but I simply cannot do it anywhere. Do the clothes have to be gifted to the NPC first?

I didn't buy the DLCs but maybe they are only available after Pablo's quest? Which would be a shame because the quest comes relatively late in the game. o.O Pretty much at the end...

Definitely agree, splitting the NPCs into three categories for 4.99 seems like a blatant cash grab, especially with some of (in my opinion) the best characters being in different packs. If they would've included all character's seasonal set in one bundle for that price, it would be much more reasonable, although still a bit much.

In all honesty ... i REALLY dislike the outfits ... the builder's outfit i don't mind so much, but the bikini's on my builder yea no .. HATE IT ... and i really dislike the npc's outfits .. making them so dandy instead of desert cowboy/steampunk looking which is why i like the My Time series .. they're just too colorful for my taste.

It's a shame that there is no cool cowboy outfit for the player, just look Logan that guys has a super cool cowboy outfit and i would love to wear something like that, the deputy hat is cool but there is not a single cloth that is as cool as Logan's.
