Feels kinda crappy I spent all that time finding two of them specifically for this and they don't breed.
Stare at them in confusion as to why they exist in the game in the first place given their extreme lack of utility.
(Monty Python.)
strange. I wonder if it's possible to get a king from 2 normal or large ones, then.
yeah i have 3-4 pairs of diff kings in my upgraded pond and each pair spawns a "baby" every 2-3 days. I have only seen a baby king once, but have not tried pairs of normal/larges though
The pond can be used for breeding? I thought this was only possible with the fish tank from the game center! I put two fish in the pond and fed them but they didn't reproduce - I thought it was just decoration. I have to try it again right away.
Thank you!
Since I can't turn king fish into Catori's museum, can't use them to craft, can't breed them to use as gift or for passive income, and they don't look nice (because again, it just lacks the charm of a standard aquarium with water), I'm not sure the point of them atm.
I've lived in the desert all my life and many people have koi pond and water features because it's a nice contrast from the environment we live in. It would have been cool to have...
Then they could have had a beautiful blue clear pond on your property to breed your fish in (should have been like for like) that would have cost a fair amount of water to build, and a small amount of daily upkeep from your water tank due to evaporation.
Ah well -- missed opportunity and something for future mods to be worked on perhaps.
