Multiplayer Help- Upgrade Coop Workshop

My friend and I are just starting multiplayer and it wants us to upgrade our coop workshop to level 5. Problem is, I have no idea how to upgrade it. Any help is appreciated. (I will say, yes I know how to expand to get more land but I know these are two separate things.)

If ur talking about the "my workshop Level" it will go up slowly by doing any task that grants XP, ull see points go toward it. mining out the pass in town and clearing some other area's in town are quick XP for your workshop starting out, if you look for chests around town etc sometimes u can find better tools aswell to make that faster. as for other upgrade stuff you can do that in "City hall" Via the catalog. Don't forget to do your commissions too for Workshop XP and monz.

Try to advance in the urban planner and also don't forget to check your milestones. They give XP quite often at the beginning.
