Do you like the amount of indoor and outdoor decorations for your home ?

I saw a few posts about that we don't have enough decorations and furniture for the house and on one side I agree and on one side I think its right about the good amount for the setting.
I don't know if it makes sense but all the furniture and everything I can get decoration wise feels like it fits to sandrock, its not 10000 things but that kinda fits to a desert city without big big water supply, I mean I overall love housing and decorating and I get enough out of sandrock for it.
So for the setting and everything we get I think its right about enough furniture and decorations in this game.
The only thing I dislike about housing is that there lightning inside the home feels so weird, it always looks like bright day inside home, close to no shadows, late at night with no light inside my home and its close as bright as outside on a day, so I kinda wish we would have better and darker indoor lightning with shadows and a feeling of day and night inside your home

It might make sense, but I'd like to see a little bit more variety at least. Maybe 3 or 4 different furniture sets so we have more room for customizing, and a more reliable way to get furniture than the furniture chests which only appear once in a blue moon.

Trying to paint furniture that isn't from the same theme is a bit of a nightmare too, because the shade of brown I apply to a rustic piece will turn out differently than if I do it to a chair that isn't of the rustic theme.

I think we could definitely use more furniture and design options. Especially as you get better as a builder and Sandrock grows with more commerce and gets more attention. That would make more sense lore-wise.

While I am pleased with my current house setup it just does not have a lot of good wall/roof choices. Some of the choices don't even really have great color schemes. I would love to see a feature where we can choose the wall/roof designs and then do some kind of color wheel design. For example, the majestic house style is pretty cool, but the color for the bottom part of the house is just a random blue/green color if I remember right. It just does not match the design at all. There are several other design choices like this.

I will say though that the building options/features that are here are awesome for this sort of game.

The only purpose furniture serves in my workshop is to add a stat boost; I'm less interested in variety and more interested in how few pieces I need to max out my attribute bonuses.

lol, I could see how that could cause some confusion. I started using this profile pic back in 2015 and nowadays I see varieties of it on a lot of people's profiles. It's pretty funny.

I'm like SimuLord in this. I don't decorate, I put stat/character boosters where I have space. I'm also not big on the romance stuff or mini-games for the sake of mini-games. I'm here to build things, kick mutant posteriors and find Old World bubblegum to chew while doing so.

I sincerely wish that they'd stopped adding items to the random box (Furniture Box) several iterations before. You can only buy a few and what you get is 100% random. With all the additional stuff (there is a lot), you'll have to save/reload forever to get what you want.

I have zero use for 10 random ugly Tech Boxes for instance, and sometimes you're that unlucky.

Just let me buy my things in an obvious way already. Same goes for the 'random' item at the Tailor. There are play throughs where I don't get my fave level 25 gear bits (for looks) *at all* and I sincerely hate it.

TL;DR: no I don't need more furniture, but I do need current furniture better accessible.

ETA: and I want outdoor pathing options. Give me wooden or stone floor bits so it actually looks like a Workshop.
