You probably can't. It requires special parts that probably aren't available without the single-player missions they come from.

You absolutely can. You can unlock the ability to craft it in the Urban Planner at Co-op Workshop Level 10. You can then craft it at the bottom of Paradise Lost. You can't miss it. You need Peice of Tip x9, Peice of Body x9, Peice of Hilt x9 and Ruins Token x999 to craft it.

Since I haven’t seen it posted elsewhere, the sword pieces in multiplayer drop from the big bosses in the ruins, like Paradise Walk and Hinterland of Growls.

It should be noted that each ruin has a very high chance to drop 1 of the sword parts and a very low chance to drop another, iirc the hilt has a low chance to drop from Paradise Walk and a high chance from the dungeon you unlock right after clearing out the poison gas, I forget the name. I personally found it faster to farm it from Paradise Walk, since it takes about 3-5 mins per run once you get used to it and roughly 1 in 3 runs drops the hilt
