Gift list on character page

How do you fill out the list of gift preferences in a character's profile? I've tried trial and error thinking it would populate the list, but it's still completely blank.

If you give someone a gift, it should show up on their page whether they loved it, liked it, or hated it. If it's not showing up then it sounds like a bug.

When they are only neutral to your gift, it won't be listed at all. Like Aelirenn said, it will show up, when they love, like or hate it.

It's possible that everything I've given so far is neutral, I've only tried a couple of things.

Try giving Mi-an a bronze plate. It's definitely under "likes" for her.

I gave her a bronze plate after she specificaly told me she liked them in a dialogue, but it still isn't listed as a liked item in the social tab. Tried sleeping to see if was listed next day, nope.
The games fun enough, but it's a hot mess. I need to keep alt-tabing out to go find things on the wiki because the UI refuses to provide useful info.

If by "specifically told me she liked them" you mean that she told you that she's currently looking for them or something along the lines (with colored highlighting in the dialog text), i.e. a "desire", that's a special game mechanic which takes precedence over the normal gifting rules. You will net extra reputation/favor with the person while you give them their desired item, but I believe you won't get entries into the gifting list if you fulfill a desire.

Just try gifting a bronze plate again now, while she doesn't express that specific desire.
