Fang Friendship missions

I'm already at a high level of favorability, but the quest isn't coming... Is there a trigger condition? It went as far as Relapse.

I still have one more meal to sell him. Is it one of those quests where it's just a circle on the map to show a cut-scene will be triggered? (Wiki doesn't state how many points you need with him beyond the first quest.)
I'm thinking of going for him for a hubby. He seems to take his sweet time. That's ok though, I'm a busy builder and I haven't met everyone yet.

The first time I marry Fang it wasn't that long, but the second (I wanted to see the quests I lost) it took way more time, his confession was after the Duvos invasion even if I was giving favorites presents all days.

So does that mean that Fang will confess to you without the heart knot? If so, what is the quest called because I never got it in the first place. I finished the game with full friendship points for him.

Yes, he confess but you'll need a Heart Knox to trigger it. The quest is "⁠Words to Betray the Heart".

After the quest "What's "Hanging Out?"" you can give him a Heart Knox. He will turn it back the next day, you'll need to try to give it to him again to trigger the confession quest.

Even though the invasion is over, the friendship event is not over... I want to get married before the story ends, but how long is the story left?

You'll have enough time, the invasion is Act II and there is a whole Act III.

Addictionally, I noticed that when Fang's quests don't trigger when they sort of should, giving him a gift (if you're that far) can help move things along.
