Aging of children

Personally, I assumed that the children we had would only grow up to the same age as Pebbles. (Which I find quite adorable apart from the missing interactions that will hopefully come). Now my son is the same age as Jasmin and Andy while Linden is still in her baby age and Pebbles is still a toddler. I am aware that it is a difficult integration into the game. It just feels strange that my children are overtaking two others in age. Like I said, I expected our kids to just reach the same age as Pebbles and maybe Linden too. I would like to hear other opinions on this and what you guys think about it.🤔

I wish we could buy a playpen we could put outside in our workshop during the infant and toddler stage. Having to run in and out of the house (and the accompanying long load times) every few hours to feed/change diapers/etc. is so annoying. If we had a playpen that we could put outside, we could watch our child while working outside, and save us the loading time Hades. Plus, it just feels *wrong* to leave our baby/toddler alone in the house all day long!

Thank you! I feel like a bad mother because my child is alone at home all the time, which also bothered me a bit in Portia. As soon as he could walk, he roamed around the train station all day long. He would have been safer with me in the mines. xD

2 own children + the adopted child I don't want to give spoilers even if everyone can imagine it ^^ there are always people who aren't that far into the game yet. Two weeks before his first birthday he reached Andy and Jasmin's age. I can't say how long the individual phases were, sorry.

Unfortunately I don't know. I would also be interested because he is not listed under the sandrockers. He is not in the friends network, has no birthday on the calendar and cannot receive a gift. It would be so wrong if you couldn't adopt him.

So far, it took 14 days for my first child (baby boy with husband Justice, I named him Justin) to grow to toddler stage, he's been a toddler for 22 days so far. I'll update/post here when Justin grows to the next stage.

I been trying to figure out how to get a bed for my child. They have outgrown the cot and now run around town but I always get a message in morning about no bed.

Arvio has single beds. There are no special ones for the toddlers, it's the same one we can sleep in.

The Mysterious Man also sells a bed. You can even build a bed, if you've purchased the recipe.

Why would you buy a bed? You can get the schematics from the commerce guild and build your own.

When things don't make sense, I just make up my own backstory/reason for it. Maybe after being exposed to so much toxic waste and gas in our adventures, we now have mutant children that grow super fast and tall, then stop. Hey, it could be worse...
