Reliable way to level combat tree?
I am Level 62 atm but my combat skill is only level 16. From the way it seems, combat experience goes up per swing and that is where the problem currently lies - I am too strong. Even with no gear and using my fists, everything dies in a small amount of punches. To others who have become too powerful, how do y'all suggest maxing out? Trying to plat this game and this one seems to be the greatest time investment so far assuming I have to kill 10k more mobs.

I did several back-to-back runs of the different levels of The Breach and other Hazardous Ruins. There are plenty of monsters in close proximity and getting S grade on each level of each ruin also goes towards another achievement.
My other choice would be the monsters down in the Valley before Catori World is built.

Does seem to take ages though.

boost your damage and stats by decorating your house and you'll become so powerful you wont need to even worry about your combat tree, though it does have its limits. you can create cheap items and increase your attack with bookshelf's and other stats you may want. not sure how much min maxing goes into it or if items stats still stack since i last played but that is how you play Sandrock. which a great deal too many of people don't seem to know

Oh, I am not having problems killing. I am trying to get the achievement to max all skills. Combat is my only concern at the moment.

The sandstorms are great now, the enraged mobs are all 2-3 lvl over you, so they don't die in one hit. The new airship ruin is weak in terms of rewards, but the mobs are stronger, see if they can work at your lvl.

oic well i haven't seen the new achievements yet but besides all the animals outside that respawn everyday you can do devles beyond that, that's all you can kill to level it per day. beyond that I'm not sure. maybe someone else knows more

Sandstorms are great for that with all the high lvl animals roaming around.

There must be a better way to level combat, this thing is taking forever ro level up

Would putting away combat-boosting furniture help?

Sry, beyond the sandstorms and the new mob that appears them, I don't have so much ideas to share, because it allways lvl up in a pretty decent pace on all of my runs. But, then again, I'm pretty much a dungeon crawler so everytime I'm free I'll go to a Harzadous Ruins (if there is a bounty or not).

Other than that, try to kill the snakes with the RTX40, as all ranged weapons, it kills lots of enemies at the same time, but there is not so much places that have tons of enemies.

I guess it depends on your play style. I can't imagine a combat level of 16 at level 60 plus. I just rolled credits at level 49 with the following

Gathering - 27
Workshop - 23
Combat - 26
Social - 15

My suggestion is do runs of the combat dungeons and take commissions from the Civil corp to kill specific enemies.

I'm lv 69 and my combat is lv 23, i really enjoy collecting resources and mining inside the ruins is the best XP farming, the problem is now i'm overleved for anything.

Same boat. Lv 67 / Combat 21. Ain't no way I will max combat comfortably. Probably gonna have to grind it out for a dozen or so hours at this point. Pray for me...

I have all my building equipment on top of my balcony. while i wait for things to be built i spend the time in shooting the critters from a far.

not sure if this is giving me more experience as this is like snipping instead of close range.

something i am yet to check out close combat vs long range do they give different exp?
