Greenhouse & Factory

Such a letdown, there is Not enough space in the "room/Greenhouse" to hold all the plants even if you do 2 rows of 4, this does not make sense If we could maybe have two rooms But it will only let us have One room even if we had two Consoles, This was so poorly implemented its a Joke, and the Factory What is the point same as greenhouse only so much space and No Storage, Just give us the Portia Copy that worked well and should of been easy to just re-code to Sandrock, same with a green house its Too Small.
i guess its too late now game is out and released But Please Next time devs Have some thought, its bad enough we cannot even Display half of the items we had in Portia, Cannot even put a Plant on a table , come on this should of been added in, Damn we could even put a damn relic piece on a Table or cabinet in Portia, But here we cannot or hardly even put a Book on a table lol.

I Love Sandrock its amazing But Us players have been asking for all this since first EA, and what do you Devs do, charge for extra stuff via DLC and Give us a crappy Factory and Greenhouse, better to just leave our machine outside and do the garden outside too. so far only thing better is the way we can build our house other than that Portia had it better.

Sorry for rant was playing around with the factory and greenhouse, so just got annoyed with What they gave us full release.

I agree. I was so looking forward to the factory especially. The factory in Portia was perfect. The factory in Sandrock is not even close to what it should be.

First, I could not figure out how to even get the factory. The in-game tutorial for the factory does not tell me *how* to get the consoles for factory/greenhouse, just that I needed them. After searching through the discussion board, I finally figured out how to get it.

So, I make a factory and it's just a room that I can place the machines in. A room that I cannot make as big as need to hold all my machines. So, I go to start moving my machines in it anyway. I get the tailoring machine in then I go to put the refiners in and it won't let me. I got so annoyed, I just shut the game down. And now I don't even want to start it up again because I am so so so annoyed by that crappy factory.

Why couldn't they just make it the way it was in Portia?

There are a few machines that cant go in the factory, the refiner, relic machine, oven, drying rack, and the ore processing thing. I haven't tried it yet but it seems like adding a second floor could work for the factory although I have plenty of space for 4 each smelter and recycler, 2 each grinder and processor and one each of the rest. That's leaving an empty row in between each row of machines and an open column to get to the back. I think I can fit 3 more machines before I would need to start sticking everything closer together. Rosie collects everything, or else the factory automatically puts all machined goods in the delivery box itself. I think the factory is fine but can I really not move my existing plants, trees mainly, inside the greenhouse???

I believe others have tried this and it doesn't work. Apparently you are allowed one ROOM for a factory and a room in the second floor is a second room.

I'm sure an update will come to alter the Factory, add in the rest of the machines, sadly still cannot put the cooking bench into the house for aesthetics. Also, Factory could use a designated drop box, similar to Helper Box.

But, the greenhouse is the main issue to me, I don't want to have to dig up all of my trees and replant them after it took so long to buy each seed and wait forever for them to each grow.

Dropping big bucks on a couple of consoles to realize I can't do much with them currently. They do seem extremely helpful during the early to mid game when designing your land, but Right now, I'd have to just leave them in a box till further notice.

the factory in portia could hold a row of each 5 machines, though it didnt have a refiner or other, But you had enough to make the machines make quick materials and a unlimited storage box.

The greenhouse you dont have room for all, you can make room If you leave your trees outside and /or Not plant the 4 square Cactus (forgot name) or be picky on only plants that give you Ingredients. Just not enough room for all the plants available, This is on the devs not thinking through.
My garden has a 3 row across and 6 row down and 2 row of cactus and with all plants it comes just a bit bigger than a Room by a couple of squares and is Perfect so i leave it outside now.
My machines i have 4 of each grinder, processor and furnace , which i couldn't even fit half into Room lol.

Personal opinion is Just leave it all outside and dont bother, just let rosy collect materials.

Though be careful as all her chips dont do what they say in the description
