Cannot get Alienware t-shirt

Title

Playing in single player mode
Got all the DLCs items in the mail except the Alienware t-shirt.
It is showing in Steam DLC page for the game and in the save file it has a green check mark.
Still cannot get it both in my old save and in a new game

Every time I click on the green download option for the free t shirt dlc it just opens up the game[starts the game] it never down loads the dlc .

Have you tried reload the game to see if it helps?

Yes I reloaded several times and also started a new game but to no avail.

This happened to me. I didn't even see the shirt in my mail... However since they bundled the DLC together, I can't get all my mail yet. They should have included a storage box for each one....
