It is an odd distinction, really. Pen goes to prison so you can't marry him. However, it would not be a choice on his part to abandon you. When Grace leaves, yes, she does choose that; her measly job was more important than you. Rotten.

I hear ya. Multiple paythroughs, and a nexus mod that allows me to have multiple wives. So I replaced grace with venti. I still have 5. That ought to be enough for any guy. But you know what, if grace asked me to go with her and fight stuff like she did before boarding the train, and the mc was allowed to answer, I would say hell yeh. Let's go babe. The drama is much better that way. Never mind that mtas must end after that. Or the mc could reply that he needs to finish up at sandrock first. Fair enough.

Grace hardly has a "measly" job. Much like real-life spies, Grace gave up a certain amount of her personal autonomy to serve the Free Cities, and "matter of national security" means she can't just simply walk out of Mordor.

Ok, then if we are going to talk rl, then she would not agree to marry him and she would say why. And if she did marry him, it would be the understanding that he would go with her when she leaves. She did suggest that he join her when she left. The dev's did not allow the mc to make a response. If nothing else the agreement could be that he will join her when the mtas storyline is complete. It would not be possible to continue a spy story in mtas, but that much could be accommodated. Dumping the relationship is not acceptable. In real life it certainly would not have been. She knows he is a good enough undercover fighter to survive in her world.

Its not complete, there is more. I'm still not fully done with the game and way past that point, though im pretty sure im near the end.

Does Grace actually return? I think I've finished or at least done most of the main content. The last mission that game gave me was Alo's Home .

That mission just spawned for me as well, but before it did, Grace sent me a letter saying she's been assigned.

I have no idea what that means yet (I'm making a couple of forum posts before going to bed, as it's 2 AM where I am), but it seems to square with what people who are ahead of me in the content are saying about being patient.
