Howdy all, Some players are experiencing long loading times when launching or loading saves. Here's a step-by-step self-help instruction for Steam users encountering loading issues:
How to Resolve Loading Issues on Steam:

Disable Cloud Save:
●Open Steam.
●Go to the "Library" tab.
●Right-click on "My Time at Sandrock" and select "Properties."
●In the "General" tab, uncheck the box that says "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for My Time at Sandrock."

Move Out/Delete Expanded Save Files:
●Navigate to the folder where your game saves are located.
●The path is something like ...\steam\userdata\your Steam user id\1084600\remote
●Inside this folder you'll find your save files. Look for any files that have become excessively large and might be causing the issue.
●Move out/Delete these large save files (if it's important one, move it out first). Be cautious not to delete important saves accidentally.

Yes after the update it is hardly playable. Feeling delayed every 20 seconds. I've tried everything possible, but nothing helps.

I turned off error reporting in the options in the game. Now it's working again.

I can't play after update so , would love to just have lag instead of not being able play at all cause my game want load

I am also having severe lag issues since the update. Literally long load and then repeated lag and freezing during gameplay. Had no issues prior to this update. I have no mods loaded.

1) I tried to unable the steam auto save.
Time to be able to play from laughing game to open menu in game : 7'13''57

2) I don't think there is any over size file at least there is none that are that bigger than the others (from 4 707 ko to 7 632 ko with many around 6 000 ko).
3) I have check for corrupt files...
Time to be able to play : 5'45''41

4) Erasing the old file including the 7.632Ko file
Time to be able to play : around 4min (Chrono bugged)

After the last update, the game began to behave strangely. After every big update, I start the game anew. This way I can check all the changes in the game. This time the game behaved strangely from the very beginning. My computer is powerful enough for the highest settings. However, this time I already had FPS drawdowns at the start. Some objects (such as buildings: railway station and museum) in the game could not load. They took much longer to load than anything else. Despite all the inconveniences, I was able to continue the game. At the stage with the appearance of Logan in the city, things got even worse. It really upsets me, because I've played more than 70 hours by this point. I really wanted to meet this character! Logan is a very cool and reliable guy! As soon as our relationship flowed into something more, the game went crazy. Constant freezes, freezes, FPS drawdowns began. As a result, I just can't continue the game. It's very painful! I tried to solve the problem in different ways, but nothing works. My last hope is a patch with fixes q-q

I saw a message in this thread above about a possible solution to my problem. I turned off "Sending Error Reports" and tested the game for about half a day. The conclusion is this: just one "sad" item in the settings can break the game :( by disabling "Sending error reports", I got rid of most of the problems. Some buildings still can't load properly, but that's nothing.

I was reading the error logs today (because of a different issue) and it's just a Very Long List of one error code over and over and over again.

I'm going to try and see if this fixes my stuttering too. Thanks for the suggestion!

ETA: absolutely FLAWLESS solution. just turning off sending error reports and NO MORE STUTTERING. I'd like the devs to add this in a sticky to add as a suggestion as a proper work-around for all the stuttering/lag issues currently present.

Tried all of the mentioned solutions game still has long loading times.

Just for clarification the game did not have such loading times on the more recent early access build
The assets when transitioning from indoor to outdoor also takes time to load in close to 30 seconds or more

Are you playing on the full release build and have the game installed on a SSD?
