Can anybody tell me what's the simple sandfish pond do?

I thought it would be some place i could fish but nope ... so not putting it in my yard ....

would be nice if it ends up working the same way as the fish tanks in Portia and allow you to breed fish

I don't have yard space for nice bits of decoration that have no purpose.
Was hoping it was for fishing in.

Likewise, the display tank (from the gaming center) is nice but way too big.

It's currently just a decoration. You can add fish to it and watch them skim around on the sand. I thought we could fish from it so I placed it, but nope.
