Hello, so I did Pen's mission and now he keeps on following me! Why?.
How do I get him to leave me alone!

If you're talking about his quest where he 'teaches' you to punch you have to kill all the enemies around you - the ants and chickens. Then it'll trigger the end of it.

Yes, what Katy said. Pen tells you to follow him, then you are surrounded by hostile chickens and ants. Kill them. I'm actually surprised a number of people just...left the area it seems. I was very confused myself when he didn't go anywhere, but the hostile enemies made me just attack them.

Personally I completed the entire mission with also the passage with the chickens, despite everything he follows me everywhere when the mission is over no latter what I do, which is annoying.

You killed the chickens and the ants, he was upset about failing to be a teacher because you did not space punch and he's following you around still? If so, that I would have to assume is a bug.

Yes in this case we will assume that it's just another bug, it's just quite annoying when I have to advance in other quests or see him in my house watching me sleep haha

Try asking him to play and then end the playdate and see if that fixes it.

I just let him kill everything and reaped the rewards, it did take a moment for the ants and rosters to spawn though

Same thing just happened to me. Hah! I took him out to the desert to box a few rounds with the roos. I figured they'd get along. Thankfully he was not there when I woke up the next morning.

Had the same bug it was hilarious, dude was on me like the Terminator. We also had a lovely time going horseback riding into the sunset... off a cliff. Then when we went to bed he was gone the next morning. Truly the most romantic of evenings /s
