Problem with the 'Duvos Attacks!' mission

Basically after the cut scene there is no battle, no Duvos soldiers. I created a thread in the Bug Reports section and emailed Pathea with a save game file.

Had same problem after I placed the defense cannon. After I went to sleep for the night, the battle sequence began after I woke up.

My problem was during that next day after placing the cannon. For me it turned out to be another instance of the cut scene not really ending properly and locking the game up.

So I'm having a problem where I get caught and thrown in jail and a guy comes in the door and that's it it does nothing else

The game gets a little wonky sometimes when there's more than one quest triggerable by opening the front door of your house going at once. Try reloading a save from before building the air cannon if you can, and wrap up any open sidequests before placing the cannon in the town square.

That's the same problem I had just now!
The game could definitely use some auto-saves between mission stages, so we don't have to do the whole fight from the beginning again...
