I feel overwhelmed.
So I’m still new, I’m on day 7 Fall, year 1. The game is still enjoyable, but I wish that there is a mode that I could chill and relax while playing. I feel that everyday in game, I have to constant pause and figure what to do next, to race before the day runs out, most of everything I do costs stamina, so I have to calculate what the more important action that I should take. Wish that there are survival stats that I could maintain, but I don’t have to worry about the day ends, and I have to race to bed before losing bonus well rest. I haven’t even got tiny time to play any game at Game Center. It’s just hard to prioritize a schedule of what to do.

1. Just in case you were unaware. There is a game setting to slow the game clock down. Push it to the left and that should (Not quite) double the amount of time you have each day. There is also a perk in one of the tree's (Gathering?) that will give you an extra hour to stay up.

2. If this is your first play through, that feeling is normal. Learning the game mechanics (don't be afraid to restart if you need to) should alleviate most of that anxiety. Getting better tools and equipment will DECREASE the amount of stamina it will take. Not drastically, but incrementally.

3. Leveling will give you more stamina each time. Increasing your cashflow will allow you to order larger meals at the blue moon and regain more stamina from ordered meals (not the register food). You can have 2 ordered Meals per day. You can sneak in more if you do playdates with people, but you only get 50% from them.

Yellow Quest lines, rarely have a time limit. You can take your time with those.

Blue Quests will likely have a time limit, check them to ensure you can complete them.

Hope this helps.

Some more advice.

Reserves and storage. The first Season or two (and when gaining access to new resources) you should be focus on squirling away extra. Arvio sells Medium range Storage boxes (You can also make yourself if you buy the recipie from the Commerce Guild). The Mysterious Man (Arrives on the 20th of each season) sells larger Storage.

The ultimate goal (and it takes time and effort to get there) is to get a commision and be able to immediately make it on the workbench/cookstove/Tailoring Machine/Weapon Forge or assembly platform and replacing your reserves with the appropriate fabrication source (forge, scrapper, grinder. Processor).

Unfortunately you have to learn what works for you and your play style so you are enjoying the game. That takes time and yes messing up and maybe starting over if you don't like outcomes.

Why hurry? You are not competing with anyone here. There is no FOMO mechanic. Take your time and enjoy the game

So is it better to order special meals of the day, or just other meals? Matter of fact, I think I’m gonna try to order all other meals at once, if that replenish more stamina, I never tried that before, but now you mentioned it.

What do you mean by sneak in while being on date? I haven’t explored dating yet. So far, I got maybe only 6 associates. Man, the relationship part is such big grind. Running everyday to each character just to click on social, for 1-2+ relationship points, is little crazy, not to mention that you have to memorize whom you did, and whom you still didn’t. This is only part that I don’t know if I can stomach if I ever do another playthrough after this one.

What is fomo mechanic? Yea I know, there is no competition (except from maintaining the commissions to reach to top board), but the rush of knowing that the day ends very quick, and you need to do a good spend on stamina. Also, there are events that I need to look out.

By the way, is there time limit in this game? (because of story mode?) Or it’s just going on forever like stardew valley?

There is a point of diminishing returns with Ordered meals. Usually starts around SP 50-100 regain. My own personal preference (once cash is no longer a limiting factor is SP 150 for 150 gols (give or take the quality of the special).

No time limit (so far).

"Also, there are events that I need to look out."

Blue quests should be paid attention to; some get buggy or failed if ignored. If you are afraid of missing content, don't miss sidequests (to be safe and not sorry).

Do not turn down Elsi's Riding Lesson, Ensure you have a Cook stove (level 1) before the Mysterious Man comes to town. Try to fit in the Drying Rack as well (as soon as possible) it will help out.

Grinder and processor (Either) should be your number 1 researches.

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Save often (at least once a day). Auto saving is actually decent, quick saving as well, but at least one manual save a day is advised.

Yea, thanks. I never know those tips. I’m still using mini storages and I’m sick of them lol.

By the way, I just did dance off first day, I think that devs changed the max amount of dance competition badges to 60, for each win. I read on somewhere, it’s used to be 90.

Yea I haven’t missed any sidequest so far. Why do I have to have cooking stove before mysterious man arrives?

Yea I do only quick saving. Maybe I’ll remember to do manual next time, but I know I often forget to do manual, it’s why I stick to quick save only. I always treat auto saves as manual.

Just focus on what you want to focus on. Eventually, you'll get good enough at it that you'll have spare time and start wondering what else you can do. That's when you start pursuing the next thing the game has for you to do and so on.

Dance off Badge Numbers change with the difficulty chosen. Is it possible you chose a different level before or maybe they meant the highest if you read it on the internet?

I always chose normal or average (which ever the middle choice is).

I thought that the level of difficulty doesn’t matter, it only matters whether you place in 1st, or 2nd or 3rd, but I guess that devs changed that. From what I read on internet, it was like a year ago. It said you get 90 for placing 1st, 2nd get 65. Again, I guess that it’s changed.

Yea, I went for easy. No way I could go for normal or hard. I’m not good with quick action button, too fast. Guess that I’ll have to try it next season cycle then. Oh well.

Honestly, I don't know. I always chose the middle. But I think that for a reason I don't recall, so maybe? Chances are good that it has changed since May of 2022 which would have been when I first did the dance off and tested any variables.

Just one thing that took me almost an entire season to figure out - when ordering food at the blue moon you can switch between tabs of the menu. The dishes on the first page shown are only appetizers so they return only a bit stamnia each. So far I was able to order food to recover 202 points of stamnia in one go, spending more money on the menu doesn't change that number. But one can order twice for 404 points of recovery total.
