Faster way of collecting water from dew collector?

It's such a pain collecting 1 by 1 when you have 30+ collectors. We should be able to connect dew collector to a water tank

If you have a big farm for your animals' food and cooking for stamina, you do need water. Plus your machines require water as well. So 2 won't be enough in my gameplay.

Plus you get water (dew) from resources like cactus, wood etc when cutting them down .. I haven't made any water barrels since i started playing (day one of sandrock coming out) and i have other 4000 dews in my storage as i buy water barrels when the market is low and that keeps my machines going.

I did some testing and decided that evaporation is not really a big problem as long as you have the skill that increases dew production 50%. Normally I find 4 dew in each collector in the morning. If I don't collect, then it drops to 3 in the afternoon, but next morning there are 8 dew. It seems that you really have 4.5 dew in the morning, and it dropped to 3.5, then then next morning you have 3.5+4.5=8 dew.

The sequence was 4, 8, 11, 15 and so on. I concluded that if you were collecting every morning, and want to switch to waiting several days between collections, then you need 12% more dew collectors to get at least as much dew as before. So if you had 25 dew collectors, then you need to add 3 more to keep collecting as much dew. Then you can wait up to 5 days to collect with a green collector, or up to 8 days with a blue collector.

Its your choice of course. Takes me about 90 minutes game time to collect from all of them. Personally I don't consider that "a good chunk of my day". As others have pointed out the right layout keeps the time to a minimum.

At level 5, I almost never fail to have 4 commissions over 500, and most are over 700, if not over 1000. Plus I take wild animal commissions whenever there is one, and grab the ruins ones if there's a good price for a haul of them, or I am going there anyway. I can certainly see the money improvements in the game. The request board is fantastic!

The only reason I don't want to burn gols right now is because I am saving for the level 10 yard, but once I have that, then buying water isn't an issue as I also hate all the clicks for all the collectors and for the barnyard animals and having to talk, gift, pet my pets every day to get their bars full - that's a lot of clicking first thing every morning. It doesn't take much time, just, as people have said, have two lines of them facing each other, run down one line and then back the other.

Just make sure to have your sand wall on at all times or else u lose it

Oh and yos I do hate clear up animal poop every day , it grosses me out bothers me if I do not clean they stop gibing anything and things . :C

Yeah, I miss Portia's adjudant (Act or the spouse) for colecting things on the mornings. Hopefully it will be add on the near future.

You may not need it for a lower level yard but you'll need it once you have multiple machines, barns and a farm. My machines require 150 water a day, barn animals and farms not included. I do buy water from the tower but only up to 3000 gols. As long as my daily commission profits are still positive around 5k to 10k. Those 5 stars weapon or building commissions are the best, can easily get 20k after you refine them.

There's no need for that. I just put it up every evening before I got to bed and lower it in the morning, unless there's a storm. I prefer the fence I can jump over.

Okay, I read they need water...but where do we actually give them that? Or does it come out of the tank? Totally curious.

I don't know about barns, I have yakmel, chickens and rabbits and none of them require water that I am aware of, just food.

Farming the player has to water the crops. That's an action you have to do, carrying some water with you to do it. Generally when you plant the seed you can give it enough water then for it to reach harvest, like fertilizer.

Yeah, I know I have to water the plants. The wiki says animals need water, but I couldn't find any place to have to put water.
