LoL you can commission Jasmine and don’t need to use Amirah for the new church painting

Is her painting better. I am very curious. I will so pick her the next time. I wonder what happens if you refuse the commission. I feel like the Painting that's there should remain. I don't like the concept of painting over the past.

Though if Jasmine comes up with a good painting I will totally pick that. Her peppy enthuisiasm is a treasure.

I felt that Amirah was pompous about it. Like here you are, loaning her money for her kiln, convincing the guy to get the blueprint then building it for her and she won't cut you a deal for a painting for the whole town to enjoy so I refused to pay her and commissioned Jasmine instead. She did a childlike one, but it's plenty nice enough.

Honestly the money is not my motivation at that point (may be a different story when it fires of in the course of a replay. Seriously when I am pulling in 3-5k a day minimum. The question isn't the pay, its the drain on my resources (things I have to actually go out and get to replace).

I hear you but Catori is the one that gets up my nose with all her expectations of constant "freebies". while you are running round like a nut case while she does nothing nor does she pay you ie setting up the museum

Actually, Amirah does cut you a "deal" but I won't say more to avoid spoilers.

You are not the one who paid her. Miguel paid her. So you're basically refusing to work for free to make a frame for a painting that the whole town can enjoy. Why is your frame worth 5000 gols but Amirah should expect to work for free or cheap?

I don't mind helping Amirah out. Art is super hard and she's trying to support her family.

Umm... no. You get the remainder of the money, which means you would have been working for free in order to pay her. By asking for a discount it would have meant both you and Amirah could make a few coins. You are paying her out of the money he gave you. Feel free to go back and read it again.

As far as I know, and someone correct me if I am wrong. You are getting a share (you are investing) in her buisiness. You are speculating that at some point the buisiness will turn a profit. Story is not over so....you know....Even if it never turns a profit, I will still have helped someone chase their dreams.

In the end it would have only cost me my time. That's pretty much the ONLY thing Life has cost me (in game and out).

You said she won't cut YOU a deal. YOU are not paying for it. Miguel is. She did not know how much money you were given, she gave you her price and it just so happened to be the same amount Miguel paid you. In reality, you would have been able to converse with her and tell her that, but it's not reality it's a video game and you are a mute.

So you're the one being pompous and refusing to work for free(spoiler alert: you do get some of the money if you choose to pay Amirah anyway) while expecting someone else to work for less than they quoted.
Then you're saying "she should do it for cheap cuz it's something the whole town can enjoy" while you're refusing to accept the job for what you perceive as cheap when the same argument could be made for you accepting less pay.

You should go back and pay attention, not me.

I would add childlish and self-centered. And way too reliant on his natural charm, forgeting that charm is a non-substantial weapon.

Good material for a detective novel though.

Yeah, exactly how you described him. I kept thinking he'd get better or more endearing, but he just keeps tricking the player into bigger and bigger lies.
