Potability 1: you selected a male voice in character creation

Check your Options. There may be an ability for you to choose the voice through the Menu in game. I recall the ability to turn voice off even after selecting one, but it's been some time since I went into that.

If true by default I created female should sound like a female.

Nvm just checked audio options can cycle through male and female voices. I'm fine with that, thought would be permanent or would have to wait until able to customize character again. If they have that option like in My Time In Portia

Whenever they get around to adding the facelifting option, you might get lucky that they'll allow you to change that feature as well. Think we could pretty much redo the entire character in Portia using the facelifter.

They could of just added a mirror inside your home. That I have seen alot of games do to customize character. Excluding hair due to having a barber in the game.

thanks, that made me feel alot better. Didn't want to recreate my character again because I missed a voice option.

We may add the voice option to the face lift function, so you probably can pay some gols to change your voice in the future. Also, you can change your voice in the audio settings.

I don't mind this idea, although I would hope that the option to turn the voice off and back to the originally selected voice remains an option that doesn't require a visit ( or gol ) for players. ( Since the voice is only for mining / chopping. )

Someone mentioned be able to change it in the audio setting. So it's all cool now, was initially from my own careless stupidity. Even forgot to change the default name. Was going to go back and change that after messing with the CC. Just forgot about it and entered game.
I do one got question on something though, is the Epic Games versions. As updated as the Steam version?
