Only the one encounter. Maybe more in the next update. If your concern is for Chromium Weaponry I recommend just moving on to Alloy Weapons.

Same question here. I only got 12 Bristle from the encounter but the Vacuum Cleaner requires 16.

Sorta soft-locked outta the main missions now...

are banditrats the same ones that pop-up while digging up minerals in the mines / caves??? im to slow to draw my weapon but once i managed to spear them to death and i looted the bag they were carrying.

No, I think those are moles (people have referred to them as such). Owen tells a sat story about Half Moles, Half Man.
