Mount foods
So, before the update the horses liked tomatoes most. Now my horse hates tomatoes, so, two questions:
1) Is there a way to take food out of the stable? I can't see a way to...
2) What food do horses like most now?

I feed mine potatoes. He's happy. Unfortunately, I think so far we can't remove foods.

They like sandberries next most to mushrooms and I also believe we are unable to remove food at all right now.

Does DECONSTRUCTING in Home Edit Remove Food? You get resources back (I have been told).

Save your game first.

be prepared to lose the food.

I killed my stable in home edit mode i believe and then rebuilt it so that only the mushrooms were in the food trough ...

I'll have to give that a try.
I went nuts growing tomatoes for my horse so I wouldn't have to worry about feeding it for a while unfortunately, so... losing 30 tomatoes is no big deal compared to the mountain of worthless tomatoes I have in storage. :T

I parked my mounts outside of my stable, demolished it in home editing mode, and then rebuilt where it had been. Didn't cost me anything extra to rebuild (demolishing refunds your materials) and I got rid of the enormous pile of useless tomatoes I had in the stable trough.

Worthless until you get Tomato Fish commisions. 1-2k an order isn't bad.

I didn't even realize they changed it. I've been growing and feeding them tomatoes all this time. I wonder why the devs changed it up? I did see one wild rant about how horses shouldn't eat tomatoes because they are poisonous to them in real life. I hope it wasn't changed over that. Guess I'll have to find a use for the thousands of tomatoes I have and figure out what to do about my mushroom shortage. :(
