Mission Bug? ~ Something in the Air

I've collected the Materials now unable to continue the mission.

The three individual items are checked off on the mission list but the "Collect Materials" isn't.

I've found a broken pipe which I can't mend and there's no mission arrow on the map.

Am I overlooking something or is this a bug?

OP Check your map for yellow circles back in town. You should have justice and unsurr with you and encounter some events when you go in to fix the pipes.

Unless I am totally misremembering. Which is always a possibility.

There's no mission markers on the map and Justice & Unsuur are doing their own thing,
I can't trigger them to join the mission at all.

I already had the items in my chests, also tried remaking them.
Restarted the game hoping it would reset something.

Thinking this is a bug.

Looking at my completed quests. Looks like the next step is wait until tommorow and meet up with the team at the spot. Did you tell anyone you collected the stuff? My memory is hazy but you can try City Hall (inside.) Failing that try Trudy or maybe Justice.

Edit: Now I remember. You have to wait for the next day then talk to justice (they have to wait for Mi-An to make them Protective gear).

I had this same issue, it sorted itself when I put all the mats in a container/chest and picked them back up again, hopefully this works for u as well.

It triggered for me by putting the items in inventory. Then Justice & Unsuur are waiting for you at the end of the railway to start the mission.

I grabbed the three different items from my machines making them and the game immediately changed the instructions to "wait until the next day". Starting on the next day that box is ticked so the mission is progressing correctly for me.

Good news.
I remade all the items again and now the mission instructions have advanced.

Okay so, I had this issue as well and none of the methods mentioned here fixed it... To a degree.
What fixed the quest for me was grabbing ALL my chromium steel plates. I had only been grabbing what I needed, but as soon as I took out the entire stack, the quest updated.

Bonjour, pour ma part, le dépôt dans un coffre et la reprise n'a rien fait. Ni le tri de l'inventaire. J'ai été obligé de supprimer complètement les matériaux (sur moi ou dans les coffres) pour remettre à zéro la quête - pour ensuite reconstruire les items sur les machines. La quête s'est alors débloquée immédiatement. Si ça peut aide quelqu'un :)

This worked for me also .. thanks. However, I had a lot of items and didn't wish to destroy them, so I sold them to "By the Stairs" and the Guild then purchased them back firstly in the quantities required by the quest, which then updated correctly, and then all the rest of the items. While I didn't pay too much attention to the prices, I don't believe I lost out on any Gols. Note: there may be another method to do this, but this is how I did it.

As an aside, putting the mats in a chest and taking them out didn't work and neither did remaking the exact amounts required by the mission. I also cleared all other missions in my journal thinking that there was some sort of gate holding up progress. The solution posted by Telrunya82 was the only solution that worked for me so thanks again for posting .. very much appreciated.
