ADD: Machines inside the House

Can I please move some machines inside? I need to make more room in the yard.

Machines that would make sense inside: Cooking Station, Blender, Processor, Grinder, and Tailoring machine.

You will have factory. You will ve able to put machines inside.

I would rather have vermisilitude. I.E. a Kitchen since we will be having a stove/oven.

+ 1 - a kitchen we can put the cooking station inside, also with cupboards that we can store the ingredients in please :)

Apprentice Cooking Station and Chefs Cooking Station should be place-able indoors if nothing else. Who brings their oven outdoors to cook food? Especially given all the dust and sand in Sandrock.

Worktable, Artifact Assembly Station, Jewellery Table, Tailor Workbench also should be place-able indoors. NPCs have theirs indoors.

Smelters, dew collectors, drying racks, would be examples of machines that need to be placed outdoors.

You already can. Either at Construction Junction and or buy the home editing kit.

Given the environment and the threat of dust storms putting your equipment inside a building only makes sense. Ideally in a separate building than the one you sleep in because of noise and waste heat, or at least in a separate rooms WITH AN INTERIOR DOOR.

In Multiplayer they had Mid Level House which I found made a real nice office/Storage/Machine Place.

I was able to fit all the non smoking machines, a desk and chair, I want to say 10 Mini storages. As well as a bed.

I am not saying I want to give up the Single player housing system, but I wouldn't mind this for an outside type workplace situation.

My original post was before the update that allowed more expansion. Now I have plenty of room. However, some of the machines make make sense being indoors. Like the cooking stove, blender, and worktable.

i mean the building is called a Workshop for a reason why have a workshop and not have it being a workshop yeah we can turn it into a "house" but come on its a workshop building stuff should be inside the Assembly platform could fit indoors too some workshops have that type inside

I like the way it worked in Portia, where eventually you could have a building with all the machines in it. I've done all the expansions and have enough room, but to have all that stuff sitting right next to your house/landscaping makes it look trashy and cluttered.
