arvio invited to go to his sister's half birthday party and I was "hell yeah alright" and then when I come in the door there's heart balloons and candles and he asks me to dance and i have to sit through the most uncomfortable situation ive ever experienced as this bundle of pixels asks me out and I don't have the heart to say no because i dont wanna be rude
so now im in a relationship with a virtual man who i dont love and he keeps calling me baby and it makes me want to throw up please helppppp

I don't like saying no either but i did ... you'll either have to go to a earlier save if you have one and lose progress you did (not including arvio) ... or start a new run ....

I almost did the same thing in that situation (I legit had to go scream into my pillow for a good five-ten minutes because I was NOT prepared to be thrust into that situation lol), but he took rejection like a champ, I was pleasantly surprised about it. That doesn't help you get out of this awful cringey situation now, but may help you if you try to pick it up again later down the line

Is it awkward if you're not into him? Absolutely. But I think it's interesting to see reverse confession events. I hope they add more.

I hope they do add more reverse confession events, especially for marriage, but my issue with Arvio's confession is he's Arvio. The most out of character thing for him is to take us turning him down respectfully, lol. I'm half surprised he didn't do to us like he did to Fang and fake some superhero moment to get us to fall in love with him...

If you want to get back on his good side, I'm sure after awhile of doing his commissions, you'll end up there sooner or later. Or you can reload a older save and turn him down. He really doesn't react negatively much at all (surprisingly)

You kinda put yourself in that situation by saying yes. Would you date a guy in real life you didn't like? It's just a game. Say no. He was fine with it when I said no and he never mentioned it again. We're still best friends now. Dude talks about his love for his sister way to much to be boyfriend material. I always found that creepy.

Not sure if I should tie this into real life, but, people, you CAN say no. It's totally okay. It's not rude. In fact, I'd say it's far FAR more rude for someone to put you in that position than it is to say no. It's also rude to lie to them and go on with a fake relationship. Just say no. Better to break a heart now than lead to a miserable relationship.

Its not that bad .. just break up with him so your friendship level goes down a bit ... so what? ... just gift him stuff to make it go up again ..
I made him angry at me on a mission for lying to him - he found out the truth via Pablo and went off at me ... lost a few points but made it up later on ...
not a big deal ....
seriously its a game .. just say no and or break up with him and move on ....

Omg I haven't laughed this much in over a week! That party set-up was so awful, but I turned him down because *barf* AND because he almost screwed up any chance I might have had with Fang. Honestly, Arvio is an idiot so I don't feel bad. But I think the worst part was going near him the next day, and he says something like "Did you give it any more thought?" Like.... last night wasn't an indication that I wasn't interested?!
Anyway, thanks for the laugh! And I would totally just go back to an earlier save point if it's that bad. But having him hate you isn't that much of a loss.

it was insane that side quest xD i never expected that, just for the mood, i accepted his dance but refused to going forward (cuz i'm a guy on the game and don't chase into boys) xD

I walked out on him and his dance. Probably missed a cutscene that way but spared him the humiliation of getting dumped by receiving a dead branch from his own store.
