If you want to get back on his good side, I'm sure after awhile of doing his commissions, you'll end up there sooner or later. Or you can reload a older save and turn him down. He really doesn't react negatively much at all (surprisingly)
I made him angry at me on a mission for lying to him - he found out the truth via Pablo and went off at me ... lost a few points but made it up later on ...

seriously its a game .. just say no and or break up with him and move on ....
