Masons Farewell Party Won't trigger Mission Failed

i am not automatically "teleported" to the stage the next morning. the day simply passes and at 23:00 the message comes: mission failed.

I had the same problem and had to reload a day earlier. Try to not build the stage the day before Tuesday or Thursday, it seemed for me it bugged out when they use the stage for the church on these days.

i was scheduled for the "workshop tour" for the same morning, so there was an overlap, i went to an old save now before talking to mi-an. let's see.........

I am having this happen now, I think because Amirah's cutscene where she drops a pot happens when I walk out in the morning

Any morning that you expect something to trigger, but something else triggers instead, you should go back in the house as soon as you can and then leave again. That usually triggers the second event.
