I haven't made any changes to my home yet... Looking at your screenshot, I guess it's not possible to have the door so it's centered?

The easiest way for me is to view the screenshot in your library so it pops open a new window. Then near the top right there is a cog. Click the cog and select share. A small popup will appear and copy that link, then paste it here. Might be an easier way, that's just how I do it.

Nice job! I also like those lamps you are using the best. I just wish we could change the bulb color. That's the only thing I don't like about them. Would like to do an orange/gold glow instead of the ghostly green they emit.

Just remember you can build horizontal as well as veritical. I built a floor Room to serve as Office/Display (Flat Roof where I place my workshop sign) connected to my living room which then goes up one level for a bedroom. Nice veranda (can't place anything on the veranda) facing west.

Kind of Impressed with the home building (outside and inside). Spent most of the current game with just the default room (it was seriously crowded in there).

I went for maximised space (and also to resolve those issued with the stairs not having quite enough room, AND to leave enough room for all the animal buildings, machines, garden, assembly station... it really helped to find room for it all to expand the lot to maximum size and then build a single building right in the corner). Since you can't really build much on the rooftops other than rooftop decorations, I didn't do the "balcony" thing.

I built a ground floor of the largest one room they'll let you build, then went straight up 4 stories. I built a tower. Less cute than GGs house, perhaps, but LOTS of attic room for piling up stat bonus furniture! ;)

GG? Try one of the larger, double doors for your front entrance. It might look a bit more centred (also the plain wood door kind of looks like it belongs on somebody's tool shed, not your lovely house!)
