Build an ore refiner. Put stone in and you'll get tons of bloodstones. I think quartz can be found in the Gecko mine & from breaking the gray rocks in that desert.

I just dipped in and confirmed that quartz is found in the gravel boulders in the desert.

And as a nice bonus that makes 100% geological sense as they must be poorly sorted aggregate eroded from parent rock and only lightly consolidated, and Quartz is tough enough to survive all that :)

No clue on other Blood stone sources though.

There are quite a few Hard Rocks across the area around your Workshop. If you have an Ore Refiner and plenty of stone, you can get bloodstone and quartz from that. Other sources of Quartz can come from Gravel.

You should pick up some quartz just digging in Ruins. Bloodstone also has a slight chance to drop from breaking crates along the railway and slight chance from monsters generally (as do opal and flourite). Key word there is slight. Like maybe 1 in 10, 1 in 20 maybe.

Flourite is kind of in limited Supply, You can go through it fast if you are not careful.

Most other rocks have a steady source (Opal, Rosestone, Lapiz Luzil, Bloodstone) that respawns every 2-3 days.

Get an Ore refiner and you'll never worry about bloodstone again. Just continually refine normal stone. I leave mine refining stone constantly. Its like the recycler for rocks.

I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to research/build one.

I wonder if adding Fluorite to the Gravel rocks would be a good move or just cheapen it? It really does need a steady but not unbalancing source Considering it is needed for upgrading alot of Commission items.

As opposed to Opal which is used for machines, Lapis Luzil for Furnature (I think) and rosestone for weapons).

I cringe when I see Iron Hinges commission for Perfet.

Gravel rocks give you quartz. Hard rocks give you bloodstones.

You need to repair the bridge before you can access Gecko mine.
