How do I get clay??

In the first mines - and at Amirah shop - you can buy 16 a day - i too found clay difficult to keep up with, especially when Gecko mines open up, and you have to spend time in there.

It's not 16 per day. The first day I bought from her it was 15. The next day she only had 3. The amount she has decreases the following days as you buy it.

Dig up dirt in Eufaula Salvage mines. By that I mean don't just dig through to relics etc. or mine ore deposits. Clay yielding dirt is darker that dinas yielding dirt (that looks a bit like sand) with a sort of cracked texture. I think there might be a picture on the wiki you can use for reference.
