OK, what am I missing about tin?
I am at a point in this game where EVERYTHING requires bronze ... bronze bars, bronze pipes, bronze plates, bronze screws ... bronze bronze bronze ...

The only Tin I'm finding is in the Salvage yard office ... 30 at a time, which make exactly 7 bronze bars, and then everything you have to make requires 2-4 of those bronze bars!

I have to be missing something because this is just not working, to the point of just move on to another game out of frustration.

Tin will always be a problem. Did you construct the lift for the salvage yard? Take it down and enter the abandoned ruins. Progress down them until (I THINK) Level 3-4 and you will start finding Tin (Silver/White). Don't forget get copper (red Nodes and red flavoured Dirt). Always keep some money, costs 200 gols per week.

You find tin nodes to mine in the lower levels of the ruins. I think it starts at like level 5 or 6? But theres plenty of nodes as you explore down, I have a surplus currently.

Yes need to make the cart that takes you down to the salvage ruins and I usually just continuously grind out lvl 7 for engines, relics, tin, copper and discs since it's a fairly easy level that doesn't require you to waste a lot of energy digging for entrances.

Yes, I did lift for the salvage yard, and I'm working my way through the ruins, but I'm only like level 3 ... I have been actually clearing it, not just making a mad dash to as deep as I can go.

And in the middle of all this, I have the green house blowing up and demanding parts I don't even have the resources to make yet, and then here come the trams, and and and.

Its all a little frustrating to me ... if I wanted to be pushed and have deadlines I'd play a completely different genre of game.

My advice would be not to take you time, dive as deep as possible, because you can always reset the mines and then go through any floor you want at your leasure, you need tin, asap - you can buy some too at Rockys shop, i did that to upgrade my pickhammer..

spam on abandon ruin, set your time to 0.5. I always do this even when I play Portia.

Search for tin ore in the level > 3.

I never ran out of bronze with this trick

You can absolutely chill in this game, check the missions you're on and only do ones that have deadlines (days remaining at the bottom of the mission page).
If there's no deadline then don't feel rushed to do it, the main quests are a sort of tutorial to keep showing you what to do next but you don't have to bang them out immediately if there's no deadline.

Some personal/ side quests I've noticed have deadlines, but most of the main quest line doesn't seem to. I've gotten in the habit of quicksaving before talking to a townsfolk who has a quest, and if it's a timed one then I reload and don't accept it yet lol..

Edit: I can't spell apparently.

Work your way deeper in the abandoned ruins and you'll find all the tin you could need.

I have hit level 3 a few times but not seeing an exit that will take me to level 4 yet. Maybe it is because I am blind or maybe because I reset level 3 almost every time to get more tin.

Some of the exits are literal holes in the floor. You dig down far enough and fall into the next level. Can't remember if 3 was one of those or not.

Your complaints are rediculous.
