Quality of Life - Add Quality
I had an issue where I thought the game was bugged because I had the items I needed in my inventory, but they wouldn't let me give them away to the commissioner.

Turned out, I needed perfect quality. Any chance the quality required could be added to the mini quest info on the right?

Idea would be it saying 'Outstanding' 'Perfect' etc.

I believe it says it on the mission itself, doesn't it?

I would love to have the quality in the item description. Unless I'm stupid you can only see the quality with the colour of the item

It says it in text when you accept the commission and in your quest log on L, outstanding is green, perfect is blue and dunno the name of purple.

Yeah, they should add the quality to the description of the items. Using color alone is going to make the game real challenging for folks who are color blind.

They should add it to the quest on the right side of your screen, too. Is what I mean.

And agreed about color blind. That's a really good point.

"Rare" is purple (I think).

And yeah, at the moment, looking at the color border of the item card is the best way to tell what quality is being asked for. And no, that's not color-blind friendly.

Personally, I'd have gone with different descriptors: Common, Rare, Exceptional, or something like that.

Personally, I find the upgrade interface kind of ... non-intuitive. It's too easy to upgrade the SAME item 3 times instead of upgrading 3 items once.

The Text in the Commision could stand to bigger.

My recommendation is to Tinge the borders of the Commision itself in the Color required. at least a 2 inch Border.

If I had my way (I am not actually suggesting it) when reading (not accepting) Balloons and Confetti of the Required Color would drop from the Ceiling and a special tune would play Unique for each level of Quality.

I am very bad at reading that line. And I cannot be trusted to do that every time. You will have to trust me. I have been schlepping this world for a long time.

...Those are very odd and misleading names for what amounts to "ordinary", "mid-range" and "highest" quality levels. O_o

I too would love to know the quality of the item I just made... and suggestions as to how to improve it. Is the Refiner the only way to improve the quality??

Its says on the commission what quality the item required is before you accept it.
Orion Jun 7, 2022 @ 10:31pm
it says what it needs on the commission itself and has a visual color as the backdrop of the item green=common, Blue=uncommon, Pink= rare

The team have received some feedback over the past couple of days regarding item quality, maybe we could find a way to make it stand out more :)

QoL improvement:
While riding a mount through your workshop yard, the [F] key is bound to both the "dismount" and "pick up object" functions. Could we have the "pick up object" function temporarily disabled while we are mounted? It's really difficult to find an open space in my yard to get off the horse!
At present we get an error message saying we can't pick things up while mounted. We weren't attempting to; we're just trying to get off the horse!
Alternatively, if the "dismount" function was given order priority over the "pickup" function, that should solve the problem, and we'd never need to see the error message.

A simpler fix would be to just add the item quality to the finished product in its description. It is oddly missing and makes it far more difficult to understand, whether someone is color blind or not.

As for the mount, just leave it outside your workshop if you don't have the space for it. Just tell it to stay so it doesn't follow you around. I can hardly imagine having to jump over the short fence or take an extra 2 steps through the gate is really THAT much of a problem...

quality shouldn't be a requirement, it should be a bonus.
