Mature looking character options please...hear me out. (nothing bad)

Loving the game... character interactions voices... combat ect.

My only real request at this time is this... you can date and marry all these 30 year old supermodel women and very manly men with muscles and full amazing beards and all my poor guy has to look like a ...child man with either the worst mustache the world has ever known or a goat rope chin dangle. I went with goatish chin dangle and face tattoo to try and hide the fact I look 12 in game trying to talk big game with these full grown adults. Its comical... cartoony I get it. Good Beard options please? How else is my guy gonna marry that amazing pottery angel from the good Lord above if he looks like her child with a face tattoo and a goat dangle.

Yes, I agree, and actually posted about the lack of feminine clothing in another thread. We mostly get shirts and jeans. Mind you, I know that the builder and the rest of the characters are based in a rugged and rather harsh environment where sturdier clothing is more suitable (jeans, boots, goggles, etc) but even some of the main female townsfolk are walking around in dresses and skirts. I'd like us to have that option as well, especially on dates and other special occasions.

Right, like if someone said, well you are a builder in a desert town what do you expect. I'm like nearly ever woman in this game is in a dress or skirt. I think only Mi-ann, Dan-bi and Elise wear shorts or pants. I'm glad a few other people feel this way too. I hope that due to the stretch goals being reached for more customization that we might get more options, or the devs will see these comments. Figures crossed.

I hope so! Someone posted that the dev team is mostly women, so maybe they'll take our comments into consideration.

There was a wishlist goal that was reached that was "More Customization Options" so there will definitely be more than we see now, BUT I'm hoping it's not just more options numerically but more diversity for your character too.
I'd love to see options for different ethnic hairstyles as well as options to look more mature!

Loving all of the feedback and jokes from people ect...Especially the reference to ole buddy being a large boob. haha! There is enough buzz that I'm sure it has their attention. Thankfully the game is not a full release by any means so I hope that they will cater to our requests. I don't feel like any of us are asking for anything on a crazy scale... just the option to look more mature or grown up in both the male and female areas. Ill take whatever I can get. Whoever did the character models for the town characters have made some incredible looking diverse characters... the breasts aren't crazy large on the females... they look beautiful while also maintaining class and dignity... and the men look like actual men...some of the best beards and characters I've seen in this style of game.

I want one of those please.

With tons of development money they could make the system where your character grows with stats or time and with the barber you could then customize your 12 year old... and your young adult... or adult...along with their body and muscles growing and females getting more curvy ect.

I'm not that greedy or unrealistic. I'm just asking that we get options to make our little skinny armed 12 year old to look 20....at least in the face. I also don't think it would be hard or too much to ask for the ladies to get what they want and have a realistic (not over the top cyperpunk or anime) breast size slider.

It's true that I was kinda bothered in MTAP that the main character looked like 15. And when I tried beard and stuff to make him more "mature", it just looked like a child with a fake beard.
I mean, my character was a hard worker, running errands, working heavy machinery, mining, lumberjacking, etc. And he looked like a twig. It's not a shame to have adult characters you know. I get that it's less cute, but there are adults everywhere, why can't my character look like one?

Hell it wouldn't even have to be a slider, just like 3 body buttons, small, medium, large lol. Or more appropriately, petite, average, curvy, I suppose? I dunno, just spitballing here, don't throw stones at me

I'm a family man, but in games like these I typically play a female char, because even though they still look young, they at least look a few years older than the male options. I went for a semi-goth look (as much as i could), and she at least looks 17ish I'd say, vs 12-14 for the boys like everyone says, but with that atrocious 'stache lol, and that goat-braid... my god. She looks the same age as Mi-an, at any rate, which is most likely the direction she's headed, no way in hell is she hooking up with Big-Boob-Justice

They've already stated that they aren't going to do different body shapes/sizes unfortunately :c
I assume due to the amount of work to change every clothing article in the game to fit each body type. A bummer, but I guess I kinda understand? I would have loved to make my character taller but sadly don't think that'll be a thing.

Keeping the same body size lessens greatly all the cut scene (movie) graphics. I understand it would take tons of hours to code all the various sizes and shapes and could snowball quickly. I do see that the aforementioned 3 options version of breast size (no slider) and throwing in some more facial options should be much more doable than the sliders.

I appreciated the comment about the Warrio crazy stache and the goat rope chin dangle looking like it didn't belong. Its like you are pretending.

I also agree with the comment about we are surrounded with adults... we need options to look like one...since aging is off the table.

As for playing as a female... I'm a 40 year old MAN. Bit of an old school gamer. Pong anyone? Anyone remember R.O.B. and sleeping mario? I do not intend to play as a female in game or in life (unless Im forced to in games where there is only a female lead to which Im happy with for the sake of the story). I'm happy with my own skin and try to make characters that look as close to me as possible....for me it builds immersion. And I always cracked on those friends of mine that say... "man I'd rather be staring at a girl all day than a guy.".. to which I'd say... no. You are ROLE playing as a woman and in the event of relationship... you are dating... and marrying men. We need more real men in this world. Where are the real men at? You know... the type that would actually live in sandrock?

Women I have zero gripes about yall... you all are carrying your weight and the little boys weight that call themselves men's weight too. You ladies rarely even get a break while so many little baby boys calling themselves men do nothing... while preying on as many women as possible. Dads? Fathers? Where are they? A rare occurrence.

Did yall know that the girls these days even have to ask the boys out all the while the boy tries to look good? What in earth?!

Im still holding out for more mature adult options for our characters. Give us more mature options...we'll wait.

Actually it's worse the age of the youngsters which you can merry are between 16 and 24 at most. Don't know the range of ages which like to play these games, but it seems awkward to me for the 40+ or 50+ player male or females.
