Copper Pot
Hey, can't find any info how I can get the copper pot. I need the cooking station for the quest with the mysterious man, but copper pot is still locked for me. I got the forging machine, but it won't appear there and can't buy the blueprint anywhere?! Seems I missed something, but don't know what and will fail this quest because of it. :/

Actually, I think it's on the intermediate worktable (level 2) now.

upgrade your worktable-than you can craft the pot

Yep, looked it up there as well and was wondering why the copper pot isn't showing up there. Instead I see that it's locked on the worktable. So I need LVL2 worktable. I see. Well won't get that done by the end of the quest. A bit of a shame, that I'll fail that quest, without ever having the chance to get it done to begin with.

What's the game version number listed on the title page of your game?

alpha 0.4.38387.c6b43eee can confirm copper pot is the intermediate worktable. frying pan is forging machine lvl 1 and soup pot is civil furnace.

That seems kinda ridiculous. Why are all these different pots spread across 3 different machines? Need to organize this stuff better.

Yeah, it's a bit ridiculous. Should all be forging machine instead of spreading it to different machines.

Guess I got the quest, because I had the cooking station blueprint and the forging machine blueprint. They should change the trigger for that quest. Or is it always during the end of the first month, where you get that cooking quest?

That's a weird location but you're right. That change is less than two weeks old. Must be because they want people to be able to make the most basic cooking station without the forging machine. Or it's an error.

Well spotted.

What's ridiculous is the game assuming you have the finished cooking station when all you have is the blueprint. I fell into the same trap.

Copper needs to be worked. Soup Pot is likely some type of clay/pottery so baked and Frying Pan Machined.

It makes sense. With what they have to work with. I mean come on. You don't think swords are just made by pressing buttons right?

By your same logic we can say who gives a damn where they are made at—its a video game. Organization is more important than trying to make "game sense".

ughh.....ok. Then why have anything. Just have the workbench with tabs. Sorry I skipped over all the intervening arguments to take it to the endgame where we just say what is the point of anything. I have done this before, it was boring then it is boring now.

Verisimilitude is pretty important to me at least.

I do. It's not because items share a function, that they should be made the same way, it's just right to have them be crafted in the appropriate machine/workstation. This is a crafting game first of all, that they're at least trying to make it logical in the game universe and unique compared to other sandbox/rpg games, is a good thing.
