Does fixing the Moisture farm before Dance off cancel dance off?
As stated in the title, I already had most of the materials required to repair the hydrogel for the moisture farm before the dance off would happen in 2 days time so I went and got the materials and repaired the moisture farm.

The food donations gone and the reminder I set for the dance off event that would alert me went off at the specified time but the dance off didn't happen so was wondering if fixing moisture farm before the event was the cause. (If so, then rip. Wanted to participate in the dance)

Nope. I did it 1 day prior and the dance still occurs. It was just an escuse to have fun anyway.

Do you know when and where it happens? I'm pretty sure the letter says 14:00 at the outside stage near the saloon but when I went there, there was nothing happening

This has happened to me too, I can't get the dance off to trigger... I was hanging around waiting, nothing happened, but got a newspaper email thing the next day to say it had happened and was a success :( If anyone managed the dance off, was it the EA version, and when/where - how long after food donations were closed etc?

Actually, I lost the chance to donate/subscribe because I was too focused on the mission, but I saw the people dancing on the stage.

Right next to the stage there's a "dance-off" sign where you can press E to start the event

Yea... I never once saw people dancing so there wasn't a sign...

Did you donate to the food drive? It is stated clearly that you can't participate in the dance off unless you donate at least one item to the food drive.

The dance of Trigger is you clicking on the Dance off Sign to start the event... It doesn't auto start....

The dance competition does not trigger for me either. I have tried fixing the farm prior and after the supposed event (reloading saves). I donated over 50% but on the day donations end or even the day after that nothing happens. I know one is supposed to start it at the sign off stand, but there is no stand. No decorations, no shop for festival clothes, only a donation box that gives rep.

Same issue with me for Dance Off. Platform is completely empty for three days. Then Cooper and the blacksmith are performing music but theres no stall for entering. Then I get a mail about what a success the dance off was.

Is the event timing for Day of Memories interfering? Watched a youtube and some guy did the dance off on the 20th while mine would have been on the 23rd.

My Dance Off finally triggered - i think day 3 of Fall, even though it was way over the 2 days time and I'd already received the letter in the mail saying how great it went :)

Well, mine is also supposed to happen on the 23rd. Since the previous post suggest that the day might not be fixed, i'll see whether or not it triggers after the Day of Memories. Unless someone as already tried that?

It did not trigger for me either, I donated around 90%, I received a thank you letter for my donations but the event never occurred. I received notification from the church about the dance of on the 24th, stating 2 days later that the dance off would occur. I donated the 90% worth of food that very same day. The 26th rolled up and nothing happened, there was no sign anywhere for me to begin the dance off, the 27th was the Day of Memories and again no event.

I'm not sure if it was supposed to occur on the 26th or the 27th but no sign to begin the dance off appeared. No one dancing, no decorations etc. I, like others, did fix the moisture farm prior to the dance off. The 28th I received a news article stating that the event had occurred the previous day.

**UPDATE**
It has now appeared for me on the 1st of the following month. It did not show up on the calendar until 12:01 am for the 1st of the month. And it looks like it will be available on the 2nd as well. I was able to compete and access the store.

Yea same here, just reached the next month and it shows up twice. But it happens on the 2nd and the 3rd for me. To be honest, I'm not even sure if the dance off that happens in autumn was the original dance off we were supposed to do for the fundraising or if it was its own event in the new month.
