Church Cleanup

I asked on reddit and although I got an answer, I still cannot find it. Can anyone point me to whatever bit of sand I seem to be missing on cleaning up the church for Burgess (with a screencap preferably, if possible?) I have cleaned up everything I can find, and I very well may be missing something, but the mission expires in 1 more day and no matter what I do I cannot get it to trigger an end. Don't know if things have change in EA, does it say you need to clean more?
Perhaps you now need to speak with Burgess?
What does your mission progress sheet say?

The only thing I have in my mission list is Make a Featherduster - which I've done - actually multiple times because I wasn't sure if it wasn't triggering or something. I've already cleaned up the sand and nothing's working.

I'm not sure how to upload screenshots - This is actually the first time I've ever used steam discussions to ask for help :')

Only Sugesstion I have is to do it multiple times (like 3-4) at each planter at the front. I don't recall doing any but the 2 planters. Until you see sparkles and hear a ?chime?

It did when I initially did it, but the next part to report to Burgess never triggered. So I've just been obsessively cleaning the church each day with no luck.

I saw a sparkle and a chime when I used the feather duster on the benches to the right of the door, but I didn't see anything there. I'm not sure it's connected. When Burgess mentioned the feather duster I picked up the one I had already made instead of making one, so I'm wondering if that broke the quest.

yeah, i'm having the same problem. The mission is still saying that i need a feather duster, I used one i already had, then thought it wasn't triggering a completion because I hadn't made one, so I did, but still, nothing. I've cleaned the benches, the piles near the door and the bushes all the way around the church. Still nothing.

I cleared it just fine before the hotfix, but I hadn't made the feather duster before this quest. It was just the 3-4 piles of sand right around those planters.

I made the feather duster today after hotfix and quest ran smoothly .. make sure you haven't missed any spots .. can be easy to miss .. dirty sandy spots have a glow around the edges when you move closer or around it ...

i have quest area shows on map, but one big problem dust is not highlighting qbut i can dust in area dust never goes away but i recieve the loot items from the dust and never am able to complete quest the dust never goes away.

I seem to recall at one time I did it I didn't get the highlight either. Just do it around the entry way and left of and right of and see if you can get the area.

I had the issue with the dust not going away, entering the Church and coming right out made the dust start functioning properly for me. Reloading save, exiting game, etc, didn't work, but that did, for some reason.

Confirming, entering the church and coming back is fixing the problem.

Or, sleep til the next day and the quest will go through automatically
