I still think it would be great if the heart options could be made to be like a requirement for unlocking reverse confessions (kind of like affection points in Trio of Towns). Something that hasn't been tested is whether or not those options up your chances of a heart knot being accepted, so there's that, too...
So far it hasn't seemed to do anything special for anyone except get you a different dialogue from the character, and generally it's just them kinda brushing you off.
So, to answer your question, I don't think it does anything yet.
Oh yeah, good point. I wondered if that was default or not as well.
It was really cute, either way.
So I guess we really don't truly know what the heart means yet or if it is fully implemented yet. I suppose it gives you some extra lines and such at the moment at least. I can live with that!
It does.... If you choose the flirt option with them, it triggers them to confess their interest in you, and you'll start dating if you accept.
I'm not sure which characters have a confession in the game but uhhhhhhhhh.... some do. So that's what the heart option does for them.
