how to get bark

i need some help getting bark. i've tried kicking the cacti/trees to get bark but i have yielded none. and all of the logs i have gone up to don't prompt the kick prompt at all. I need to get some bark to make a bronze greatsword. please help

Bark can be gathered fromtrees, by using a bronze axe. If it's not just bark you're in need of, there are other sources for high quality wood products, currently not involving using an axe.

Yeah but its frowned upon to cut down trees in Sandrock. How are you meant to get bark without making the town angry?

Deadwood (dead trees) are meant to be harvestable without penalty.

Hi there, I've been playing on my current save for about 40+ hours and have not once received Bark from Deadwood trees. Is this a bug? Or are we meant to look elsewhere? Thanks!

The 2 trees where the 3 Yakmels hang out by the junkyard can be cut without anyone saying a word.
I didn't believe it either when I 1st heard of it, but it's true

Bronze axe will not cut it down.

The preferred method is to Kick Box Trees. This will get you bark. Not significant amounts at a time and it relies on luck of the draw, but there are more than 5 Box Trees around the workshop lot. So a good chance to get a piece or two every few days or so.

Personally I don't recall what it is used for but I believe the last time I looked I had a good supply in reserve.

BARk is obtained by KICKING the trees right across the oasis. also cutting them , but you can get it from kicks also .
