I'm personally going to the cave beyond the salvage - there's a drop below and after bend to the left around building. The other place I take it from is beyond the yakmel farm (the gate at the end) where you drop (or go through the gate) and turn right.

It's not sustainable and only respawns every other day with random ores, so sometimes you won't get tin at all, but found enough to keep me going.
