Treasure at the Farms
anybody know how to find this?

i don't think anyone has found it, i think it's bugged because i got a clue from ma saying her husband was always digging in the corn fields, but there's no highlight and even my mercenary with the highest wisdom couldn't spot the treasure.

there are more than 1 "Middle of nowhere" farms. just set that quest to active and check map.

The note icon only shows up one sector for me E5. There are 3 corn fields there but I can't find ♥♥♥♥.

edit: There are more farms they are just nowhere near E5...

Yeah and it seems there are some bugs involved with those farms. I was at the one in the far north and an enemy squad attacked. I was lazy and dezided to go for autocombat (easily won that as expected) and the quest said i saved the couple there. However in reality they were both dead. Not sure if that is going to stop me from getting some clue or something but definatly not working as intented

Shouldn't stop you unless the quest is flagged as failed.
I got the loot with clues about the corn field and near water. Maybe about the tree as well but the stone was not mentioned.
The final stage with the treasure is at the farm in the bottom right corner.

You need to repel the incoming legion attack and then tell the couple and follow courage to find the treasure

I think there are 4/5 farms in total, to be sure you'll need to go to each farm and talk to the npcs until their dialog repeats, then when you have all the clues you can interact with an area in "The Middle of Somewhere"

How do you walk courage? I can’t seem to find a way to walk the dog.

I was able to 'follow' Courage to the tree, it pissed on it and ran away when I clicked the tree. Message said something like "maybe this isn't the spot" and now it says Courage needs to go on a walk, but I cannot click or activate Courage. I've waited until daylight to see if change but no. Anyone know what's the deal with getting further with walking Courage?

Sort of figured it out - I just reloaded the last round and tried to trigger Courage again. The third time it went through the full process, led me to the truck, the tree and finally the outhouse where you are shown a Large Diamond. Interestingly enough, if you kill Courage you get the Diamond, a knife and flak vest. :0

about the Courage farm.
i talked to the characters there.
open sat map. there is a patrol that spawned 2 sectors to the left moving to the farm
i intercepted & destroyed the patrol and went back to the farm talked to the characters. courage showed me where he hid the big diamond (near a cactus)

i reload(game chugged and forgot to save) maybe i can just spot the hidden diamond without fighting the patrol but nothing.
destroyed the patrol and talked to the characters there again
courage showed me where he hid the big diamond but on a different spot (beside the truck)

However, it is definitely there and i dont want to spoil it but my clue to anyone having trouble with this is, re-read the name of the quest carefully, there are a few farm with very identical name and it seem you have to visit all of the farms before going to the one with loot to find it.

It's not bugged and there is a treasure to find, plus a story behind it. Talk to all the NPCs at all the "nowhere" farms, some are called similar but not exactly the same. Don't expect a HUGE tresure, it's all about the story moreso than the treasure.

Just finished quest. Story is great and funny. Actual treasure is garbage.

Spoiler : I got golden dog sculpture for 3000$, 5x small diamonds, 1! magazine, 2x chien franks and funny farmers will ( other relatives do not react on that you digged the treasure). Overall "treasure" of 7500$, or one day of diamond mine 😄

This is the one of the most time consuming quests in the game. And you get garbage for completing it.
