Set game to High Priority
This method causes your operating system to allocate more resources to Jagged Alliance 3 that are marked as High Priority – this can significantly improve your gaming experience and give more FPS in Jagged Alliance 3.
To set the game to high priority:
Open Jagged Alliance 3
While in-game, open Task Manager (press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC at the same time)
Go to the Details tab and find the main process of the game.
Right-click on Jagged Alliance 3 and hover your mouse to Set Priority then choose High.
Restart the game
I tried, because i have the same problem. In general it worked better while V-Sync (60Hz) was activated and your mentioned improvement advice. But i still had problem's with stuttering even when shown fps was steady at 60, it was less though. For me i do not have problems with sound stuttering but with the animation's.
System Ryzen7 3xxx, RTX 2070S, 32 GB RAM, installed on SSD.
Game is so much fun, i can not wait to step further!!!! <3
It's fine on my Zephyrus Laptop with a mobile 3080 so maybe this is a sound driver issue? (90s calling ;)
Tried all kinds of video settings to make it run smothly but nothing seems to work.
