This game is complete garbage!
This game should be called jagged alliance 3 miss in action.
All my overpaid Mercs do is miss there shots! Seriously they are 10 meters away from the enemy with a modified sniper rifle and somehow he misses all his shots?
point blank range with a AA12 shotgun and he misses his shots!
5 meters away with a modified pistol and somehow they miss all there shots.
these are shots any blind grandmother could make but I meant to believe that a 30-40 year old person who profession is a merc somehow misses?
This team who made this game made fun of Jagged Alliance: back in action, but at least the mercs in that game didn't miss every single shot they made. All I see when I play this game is Miss Miss Miss.

even when you aim?

Go get the "Chance To Hit" mod from the steam workshop that was put out on day 1 by the Devs.. Personally I haven't seen the need. The game already does a god job of giving you an idea of your chances.

did you use the aim function???
Ya know, right click a couple times until the circle is really small while selecting head, arms, ect.

My mercs rarely miss

Call me crazy, but being 10 meters away with a sniper rifle is actually an incredibly difficult shot...
do you even know how to aim? I hit 99% of the time.

the game has siriously chance to hit issues. Even my melee merc miss 4 times in a row until a mg enemy from opposite kills my merc in a single burst of 4 hits.

I think melee should be 100% always otherwise it's not even worth the risk

Pay attention to the tooltips when aiming, it'll lay out all the advantages you have and disadvantages. If you've only say one + and several - icons, you need high marksmanship to have any hope of hitting. Pay attention to the range of your weapons, if a target is outside of the max range of a weapon your accuracy falls off dramatically. And pay attention to modding out your weapons, its literally night & day the difference a modded weapon makes.

I'm not certain if the op is trolling, but the nature of rng can get even the most stout of us at times.

I'm actually finding this game way easier that JA2 1.13, more in line with stock JA2 difficulty.

If you miss that much, either not aiming, or not paying attention to your distance scale. Games is extremely forgiving!

if you've ever played xcom or similar you know what to expect, mods can close this.

I've killed a lot of enemies, so mercs can definitely shoot.

You aiming? You listening to the merc before taking shots? If they don't think they can make it, they literally tell you. Maybe aim for the torso more, it's easier to hit?

All games, which use a RNG for shooting and hitting probability success should be garbage then.
In XCOM, for example I have missed much more times from point blank range, literally next square, when probability was 95% to hit.
In this Jagged 3, I never missed from very close range to head, and shooter had above 87% of marksmanship.
So this thread is pointless and neverending.

can you use the overwatch option?
I have Tex with his twin repeaters, crouched around a corner. I flush out the enemies and he just mows them down.
Make sure to aim.

This game has nowhere near the amount of missed shots as nu-XCOM. Be certain that you are in range for your weapon and you aim your shots, and you'll hit most of the time; at least if the merc has decent marksmanship.

That is simply wrong, in X-COM 2 you could could have close to 100% in point blank range, while here mercs constantly miss dudes 1 to 7 squares away.
