Ya know, right click a couple times until the circle is really small while selecting head, arms, ect.
My mercs rarely miss
I think melee should be 100% always otherwise it's not even worth the risk
I'm actually finding this game way easier that JA2 1.13, more in line with stock JA2 difficulty.
If you miss that much, either not aiming, or not paying attention to your distance scale. Games is extremely forgiving!
You aiming? You listening to the merc before taking shots? If they don't think they can make it, they literally tell you. Maybe aim for the torso more, it's easier to hit?
In XCOM, for example I have missed much more times from point blank range, literally next square, when probability was 95% to hit.
In this Jagged 3, I never missed from very close range to head, and shooter had above 87% of marksmanship.
So this thread is pointless and neverending.
I have Tex with his twin repeaters, crouched around a corner. I flush out the enemies and he just mows them down.
This game has nowhere near the amount of missed shots as nu-XCOM. Be certain that you are in range for your weapon and you aim your shots, and you'll hit most of the time; at least if the merc has decent marksmanship.
